Job Description
Our client a Consultancy Firm is looking for a Payroll Officer. The Payroll Officer will report to the Senior Manager and he/she will be handling a portfolio of clients.
Duties and responsabilities:
- Prepare and process all payroll transactions accurately on a monthly basis.
- Ensure salaries and tax withholdings are calculated correctly and comply with relevant regulations.
- Generate and issue payroll reports, payslips, and statements of emoluments as requested, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Address payroll-related queries from clients in a timely manner.
- File CSG, PAYE, PRGF, ROE, and EXIT statements on the MRA platforms.
- Set up new clients and create employee records in our payroll software.
- Enter data into the payroll system to maintain and update payroll information.
- Perform and assist in general accounting duties.
- Perform any other cognate duties as required.
Profile & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Ursula Payroll software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (mainly excel).
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset.
- Ability of handling portfolio of clients.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
- Minimum qualification: HSC or equivalent.
