JOB DESCRIPTION TALENT LEAD.

Our client, the 2nd largest communication group in the world is looking for a motivated and dynamic Talent Lead.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition:

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes independently and with the support of an internal sourcing team or external headhunters.
  • Publish and promote job vacancies and analyze applications to identify suitable candidates.
  • Conduct or assist the hiring manager during interviews (online or in-person), provide hiring advice, and facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Analyze and improve the effectiveness of recruitment channels and strategies.

General HR Oversight:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for the management and team, ensuring HR policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
  • Develop and facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
  • Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, employer branding, internal communication, and organizational culture.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a fair and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support managers in developing their teams.
  • Implement and maintain HR systems and practices that contribute to organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of employment law and ensure compliance with regulations in Mauritius.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology or any other related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally with a previous recruitment background.
  • Experience in providing HR support to both employees and management, ensuring that business needs and employee well-being are balanced.
  • Familiarity with recruitment process standards and candidate acquisition tools and methods.
  • Fluent in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Passion for working with people and developing talent, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office, focusing on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in the marketing industry is preferred but not required.
