Our client, in the healthcare sector, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to oversee the financial operations of their diagnostic and clinical services.

The Head of Finance will report to the CEO of the Company.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance:
• Be a key partner in the development of short & long-term strategies of a healthcare organisation
• Implement the optimal pricing and cost policies for multi-site health care units and diverse care services
• Drive the financial and operational restructuring of the healthcare organisation
• Work with the Executive team to implement key strategic projects
Finance Leadership:
• Oversee day-to-day planning, management, and control of all financial activities, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Coordinate the development of annual operating, capital and budgets, and reporting thereon
• Be responsible for the preparation and presentation of business plans, leading business planning, forecasting, tax aspects, budgeting efforts, as well as liaise and negotiate with financial institutions
• Be the Finance champion of the organisation
Team Management:
• Implement the optimal organisational structure of the finance department to service multi-site health care units
• Manage and monitor the performance of the finance department
• Ensure the coordination between the Finance department and other key departments in the organisation and Head Office
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitor business performance, establish corrective measures, prepare detailed reports, and provide relevant timely information to business partners
• Monitor and analyse business trends and variances for strategic control and insights
Compliance:
• Work closely with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance and timely statutory financial statements
• Ensure implementation and compliance to internal controls, processes and policies
• Ensure strict adherence to tax and other local authorities and work on tax-efficient strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
• Qualified Professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an executive leadership role/senior management position.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry will be an advantage
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of risk management practices.
• Strong team player working with cross functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make prompt efficient decisions.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Netsuite and Sage.
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills in French and English.
