Job Description

Our client, Alteo Milling Limited is seeking an experienced and dedicated Back End Operations Manager to join their team. They would like to welcome a passionate, dynamic and proactive candidate, capable of bringing real added value to the team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be expected to perform various duties which may include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in daily production planning meeting for review of targets and achievements, production bottlenecks and plan corrective action in case of deviation from process parameters, downtime, or inefficiencies to ensure smooth production of sugar.
  • Coordinating with all concerned departments to ensure smooth production flow by fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Assist in the budgeting exercise for production, estimation of operational costs and management of assigned budgets.
  • Plan and organise maintenance efficiently to reduce downtime, mainly preventive maintenance.
  • Monitoring of KPIs related to production output, efficiency and quality
  • Analyse production data and trends to identify areas for improvement lead by data decision matrix
  • Managing of inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals and consumables to support uninterrupted production.
  • Ensure compliance with related regulatory standards in place.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and sustainability practices in the sugar production processes.
  • Plan and manage all the works to be carried out and all the manpower associated with on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

·       Ensure all employees, particularly those at the back end are qualified and can work with the new machines and equipment else organize training courses for them in collaboration with the Training & Development Lead.

·       Liaise with the Factory Manager in the preparation of all maintenance works or in the installation of equipment

·       Ensure strict supervision of Safety & Health measures in the place of work as per Company policy and arrange with the Safety & Health Officer for training when the need arise.

·       Ensure that there is proper housekeeping over the tools and equipment in the respective departments.

PROFILE

·       BSC in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent qualifications

·       At least 5 years of experience in a similar position

·       Ability to interact with stakeholders in a professional manner.

·       Skills in budgeting and strategic planning.

·       Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

·       Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
