Summary
Our client in the financial industry is recruiting an Assistant Investment Coordinator
The role will involve a broad range of administrative and operational duties aimed at supporting seamless investment execution and portfolio oversight. These include:
- Providing proactive and reliable administrative support to the Investment Team.
- Coordinating with key stakeholders such as banks, custodians, and foreign exchange dealers to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
- Updating internal portfolios with current cash positions and allocating balances appropriately.
- Reviewing and validating contract notes and trade confirmations to ensure data accuracy.
- Liaising with fund administrators to facilitate timely and accurate reporting.
- Gathering, compiling, and presenting relevant economic, financial, and market data.
- Assisting with Know-Your-Client (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Financing of Terrorism (AMLCFT) processes as needed.
- Monitoring loan / bond covenants and supporting follow-ups to ensure compliance.
- Performing any other related tasks in line with business needs.
Ideal candidate profile:
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and motivated individual with a strong foundation in finance and investment operations. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution or an ACCA Level 2 qualification.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in the Financial Services sector, preferably within Investment Management, Fund Administration, or Custody Services.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities, with a methodical approach to evaluating financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Customer Due Diligence processes will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg or Reuters terminals is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and collaborative attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A genuine interest in financial markets and a willingness to continuously learn and grow in the investment field.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
