Compliance & Data Protection Specialist Our client, a leading insurance solutions provider is looking for a Compliance & Data Protection Specialist Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in the design, implementation and review of AML/CFT and Data Protection policies, procedures, systems and processes
• Assist in planning, executing and monitoring AML/CFT and Data Protection related projects to ensure timely and effective delivery
• Undertake AML/CFT and Data Protection reviews to assess compliance with laws and regulations and internal policies & procedures and prepare compliance review reports
• Assist in responding to AML/CFT and Data Protection queries promptly and provide advice on compliance matters to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures and relevant laws and regulations
• Participate in the conduct of data protection impact assessments for new projects, systems and processes involving personal data
• Help in the preparation of AML/CFT and Data Protection reports on regulatory matters for submission to Senior Management and Board of Directors both on a regular and ad-hoc basis
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of AML/CFT and Data Protection trainings and awareness programmes
• Work in close collaboration with Senior Compliance Specialists and assist them in the discharge of day-to-day duties and achieving compliance objectives
• Collaborate with the Team Leader/Manager in the smooth running of regulatory AML/CFT and Data Protection related inspections and independent audits
• Perform any other cognate duties aligned to business requirements Qualifications and Skills:
• University degree and/or professional qualification in Finance or Law or Management or any other related field
• Have at least 3 years’ working experience in a similar position • Have an excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken • Have effective communication and interpersonal skills • Have good time management and multi-tasking skills • Be an excellent team player • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Use discretion regarding confidential material and adhere to the code of ethics
