Our client, a single-family office, with a growing asset base, is recruiting an Investment Analyst for its Mauritius office.

About the Role:

They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Board by providing in-depth research, analysis, and recommendations to inform investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on companies, industries, and market trends to identify investment opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive investment reports and presentations.
• Analyse investment teasers, business plans, financial statements, valuations, and industry data to assess investment risks and returns.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment scenarios.
• Monitor and track portfolio performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for rebalancing.
• Collaborate with Investment Advisors to develop and implement investment strategies.
• Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and economic trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Professional Accountant (CA, ACCA, etc.) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in an investment analyst-related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team located in different countries.
