JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Process Engineer

Our client, SWAN, the leading financial solutions provider in Mauritius is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• BPM and iPaaS Implementation: Design, develop, and maintain BPM workflows and iPaaS integrations using NEWGENOne and SnapLogic platforms.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop comprehensive design documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Integration Development: Create and manage integrations between various systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of BPM and iPaaS solutions, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to BPM and iPaaS implementations. Provide timely support and solutions to ensure minimal disruption to business processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in BPM and iPaaS technologies. Proactively suggest improvements to existing processes and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with NEWGENOne and SnapLogic platforms would be a plus.
  • Strong background in .Net and Java development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing BPM workflows.
  • Expertise in developing and managing iPaaS integrations.
  • Solid understanding of web services, APIs, and data integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Certifications: Relevant certifications in BPM, iPaaS, .Net, or Java are a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
