Our client is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer (PV)
Job purpose:
The job purpose of the Technical Sales Engineer is to provide pre and post sales technical advice and support about products.
Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the sale of the company’s products and services.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain the products and services to customers and prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and product configurations to provide sales support and meet customer needs.
- Confer with customers and prospective customers and the technical team to assess equipment needs and system requirements.
- Negotiate and finalise sales deals.
- Report and communicate with Management on sales-related and market information.
Customer Satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing appropriate product recommendations.
- Coordinates with teams to ensure proper customer service.
- Manage and provide solutions to all issues related to customer satisfaction.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions.
- Meets or exceeds company sales objectives and target.
Work environment / Health & Safety
- Ensure that the workplace is clean and tidy.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies, practice.
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Any other duties assigned by the management.
Qualifications, Profile, Skills And Experience
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in selling PV Solutions
- Knowledge of the local utility grid codes
- Knowledge of different PV technologies and providers
- Experience in selling and implementing both individual PV solutions and Farm based PV Solutions
- Knowledge on renewal energy solutions products and services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English and French (written and oral)
- Being attentive to detail and thorough in tasks completion
- Able to deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience
