Our client an international company is recruiting a Head of IT Support, Cloud & Security
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, technical expertise, and guidance to ensure efficient IT operations, robust cloud infrastructure, and effective security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the IT helpdesk team
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues and timely support to end-users.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop strategies for cloud optimization, cost management, and performance enhancement.
- Monitor cloud services, ensuring availability, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards.
Security Strategy and Implementation:
- Develop and implement robust security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, data, and systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address potential risks.
IT Support and Service Delivery:
- Ensure the timely resolution of IT support requests and incidents while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective technical solutions.
- Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to meet organizational requirements.
Budgeting and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Identify and recommend IT infrastructure upgrades, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and security.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience, at least 10 years in a leadership role
- Windows Server maintenance(Hyper-V, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO...), deployment, and monitoring on various locations around the world
- Firewalls and networking
- Other IT devices in offices
- Veeam backup
- Good understanding of ERP like Sage and similar tools
- Leading IT Helpdesk
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and make strategic decisions.
- Independent and proactive capable of implementing complex missions
- Other related tasks
