Our client is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer (PV)

Job purpose:

The job purpose of the Technical Sales Engineer is to provide pre and post sales technical advice and support about products.

Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Promote the sale of the company’s products and services.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain the products and services to customers and prospective customers.
• Understand customer requirements and product configurations to provide sales support and meet customer needs.
• Confer with customers and prospective customers and the technical team to assess equipment needs and system requirements.
• Negotiate and finalise sales deals.
• Report and communicate with Management on sales-related and market information.

Customer Satisfaction

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing appropriate product recommendations.
• Coordinates with teams to ensure proper customer service.
• Manage and provide solutions to all issues related to customer satisfaction.
• Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions.
• Meets or exceeds company sales objectives and target.

Work environment / Health & Safety

• Ensure that the workplace is clean and tidy.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies, practice.
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Any other duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications, Profile, Skills And Experience

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in selling PV Solutions
• Knowledge of the local utility grid codes
• Knowledge of different PV technologies and providers
• Experience in selling and implementing both individual PV solutions and Farm based PV Solutions
• Knowledge on renewal energy solutions products and services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English and French (written and oral)
• Being attentive to detail and thorough in tasks completion
• Able to deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience
