Summary
Our client is recruiting a Payroll & Compliance Lead to report to the Head of People Performance and Reward.
The selected candidate will be involved in shaping the employees’ compensation, benefits, and compliance strategies. They are looking for a proactive individual who excels in managing cross-functional projects, ensuring HR compliance, and overseeing day-to-day compensation tasks.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee the monthly payroll processing for multiple Business Units, ensuring timely salary disbursements and adherence to payroll calendars.
- Lead the review of payroll processes, propose improvements, and drive digitalization efforts to streamline operations and minimize errors.
- Serve as the primary super-user for our HR Payroll systems.
- Lead the annual update of salary scales, incorporating adjustments from Collective Agreements and market changes.
- Assist in reviewing and modifying compensation programs, supporting the design of total rewards programs, and formalizing benefits plans.
- Lead internal projects related to payroll process improvements and HR compliance audits
What are we looking for?
- More than 5 years of HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment terms and regulations.
- Extensive experience with Mauritian market payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS or payroll software.
- Strong project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in general management, business administration, or related field.
