Our client an international company is recruiting a Junior Compliance Analyst (3 months)

Job Accountabilities

• Assisting with queries from senior members of Compliance team.
• Assisting with the review of client on-boarding practices and documentation
• Assisting with data analytics to ensure monitoring and surveillance requirements are undertaken
• Assisting with data analytics and related research to enhance the quality assurance reviews undertaken by Compliance
• Learning to communicate compliance and risk management standards to internal clients
• Assisting with improving data quality
• Assisting compliance validation testing and spot checks as assigned, based on agreed parameters; engaging with the business partners on identified areas of concern and crafting reports accordingly
• Assisting with identifying data quality issues and making recommendations as to suggested changes
• Notifying management of any standards not met
• Assisting with regulatory projects including gap analysis between regulation/policy and practice, tracking regulatory findings and ad hoc requests from the regulator.

Your qualifications and skills include:

• 0-2 years Compliance or Financial Crime experience
• Ability to promptly and appropriately escalate risks and/or failure of standards to be met, to management
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken (primary language English) with relevant internal stakeholders on
• Compliance or Financial Crime standards
• Ability to analyse reports, identify failings and to notify same together with recommendations for remediation
• Ability to produce and maintain reliable record keeping arrangements of activities undertaken to ensure that such records
• meet inter al and external requirements
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a team
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
• High ethical standards with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with absolute discretion

Our client in the financial industry is recruiting an Administrator

 Role Summary :

Our ideal candidate will have experience in the trust and fiduciary industry and able to be a crucial part of delivering the Trust and Company Client admin activities outsourced from the client businesses in Geneva, Jersey (and over time London).

 Key Responsibilities: 

• To deliver a high quality support service to the administration team in a timely and efficient manner for the businesses.  
• To ensure that all business is conducted within the rules, guidelines and expectations of the Company. To follow all applicable internal compliance considerations and appropriate processes, policies and procedures.
• To assist and participate in the completion of any projects delegated to the Administrator - Client Service Support, as approved by the Head of Administration Support.
• To ensure all tasks are accurately recorded with clear descriptions of work conducted in the daily timesheet.
• Ensure quality and pace of work in line with expectations of company.  
• Will need to be proficient in use of NavOne (MS Dynamics) which is the operating system for all Client Admin activity (training can be provided, but experience is preferable)

Indicative tasks expected within this role:

Admin Support:

• Share issuance/transfers
• Approval of letters of engagement (draft simple resolutions and arrange for signing)
• Approval of accounts (draft resolution, arrange for signing and update no.13 in accounts tracker)
• Notify registered agent of changes
• Ordering of Certificates of Good Standing and Certificate of Incumbency.
• New bank/investment accounts opening (draft resolutions, populate forms, signing)
• Preparation and updates of structure charts.
• Draft Client reports for Client meetings.
• CDD collation for intermediaries/3rd parties

NavOne Support:

• Share register Nav management
• Changes to Nav data
• Nav cleansing/clean up and data integrity
• Payment workflow management (clearing of authorised payments)

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum one year of Trust and Company administration experience.
• Studying towards STEP or ICSA qualification
• Good working knowledge of the Trust and Company administration
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Self-motivated with good communication skills with colleagues and external intermediaries
• Working towards attaining a good practical knowledge of trust and company administration
• Organised, accurate, prepared to take ownership of tasks and understanding when to ask for advice or support,
• Following tasks through to completion and able to manage own time.
• MS Office skills
• NavOne system experience preferable
• Able to work under pressure and to time frames
• Methodical, thorough and attentive to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, at all levels, within and outside the Trust Company
