Our client, MFD is recruiting a Systems Analyst
Overview:
The Systems Analyst will play a key role in analyzing the company systems, processes, and requirements to design and implement effective IT solutions. The latter needs to have a strong understanding of both business and technical aspects, with the ability to translate user needs into technical specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Gather and document user requirements through interviews, surveys, and workshops with stakeholders from various departments.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation to communicate system design and functionality.
- Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and other IT professionals to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed system enhancements or new technology investments.
- Perform system testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure that solutions meet requirements and performance standards.
- Provide training and support to end-users on implemented systems and applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system analysis and design.
- Communications Skills to work with local and international solutions and services providers and partners. Report on works assignments / work statuses and follow-up on helpdesk tickets on time;
- Any other cognate duties, instructions as may be given by the hierarchy.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex systems and processes.
- Proficiency in modeling techniques and tools such as UML, BPMN, or ER diagrams.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Knowledge of programming languages, databases, and web technologies such as Python, HTML5, PHP, React, C Sharp.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in systems analysis or related fields is a plus
