Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Manager to oversee food production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all kitchen operations to deliver high-quality food cost-effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

  • Plan menus and develop standardized recipes to ensure quality and cost control.
  • Supervise and organize kitchen activities to maintain company standards.
  • Evaluate food products to ensure quality consistency and compliance with standards.
  • Identify and implement new products to enhance service quality.

2. Financial Management:

  • Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, including labor and food costs.
  • Analyze financial results, recommend corrective actions, and control wastage.
  • Manage inventory and stock replenishment while ensuring cost optimization.

3. Customer Service:

  • Address client complaints with effective remedial actions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients to ensure satisfaction.

4. Human Resources Management:

  • Conduct staff induction, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster teamwork, maintain discipline, and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Liaise with HR for recruitment, promotions, and resolving industrial relations issues.

5. Asset and Facility Management:

  • Ensure all equipment is functional and properly maintained.
  • Uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards through regular inspections.

6. Communication:

  • Facilitate communication within the department and with management.
  • Attend meetings to provide updates and discuss operational improvements.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
  • Proven experience in food production management, preferably hospitality.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.
