Job Description

Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Learning and Development Specialist

Purpose

Design and deliver tailored training programs, facilitate group and individual learning, and evaluate learners' progress. Create impactful learning tools, conduct presentations, and ensure compliance with MQA and HRDC processes. Analyse Training KPIs, conduct training needs analysis, and embrace online learning platforms for modern workforce needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist L&D Manager to manage Training Department 
  • Survey and catalogue existing corporate training materials
  • Develop and implement training programs
  • Conduct presentations in various formats at all levels
  • Create and acquire new training materials
  • Maintain training records and evaluations
  • Evaluate training effectiveness
  • Manage training calendar and budget
  • Handle MQA and HRDC processes
  • Collaborate in career turns and succession planning
  • Maintain online learning platform
  • Proficient with multimedia platforms
  • Design effective training plans

Skills and Qualifications

  • Post graduate degree in human resources or management or hospitality and tourism management
  • At least 3 years’ experience in delivering training (hospitality training is a plus)
  • Strong communication in English and French
  • Warm and welcoming personality
  • Initiative and self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal and supportive
  • Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, To Do, One Note, Teams
  • Numerical skills and analytical skills
