Job Description

Our client in the engineering sector is looking for a Head of After Sales.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensures that planning and organisation are done in an efficient way by closely monitoring the work of Service Advisors, Spare Parts Advisors administrative staff and technical team.
  • Ensures that the maintenance operations are as per standards and to manufacturers’ recommendations.
  • Provide input for budget/capex estimates for the Maintenance Department.
  • Ensures that job cards are opened/closed in a timely manner and regularly. 
  • Ensures submission of comprehensive quotations to clients and follow up as and when required.
  • Monitors the client requests/complaints and ensures that latter are attended in a timely manner.
  • Holds meeting as and when required and communicates on a regular basis about the status of the maintenance department.
  • Ensures that sub-contractors comply as per contract agreement as and when required.
  • Liaises with external suppliers and report any manufacturer’s defects on equipment.
  • Implements action plan to minimize reworks.

Qualification and Experience required:

  • A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or in any related fields
  • A minimum of 3 years as a Junior Engineer in a similar business environment


Technical Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Good Interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work in team and independently and be self-motivated.
  • Good Leadership abilities
  • Good written and spoken of both English and French
  • Good Computer literacy (Microsoft word, excel and outlook)
  • Holder of a valid driving license
