Our client in the Retail sector is looking for a Book Keeper/ Administrative clerk.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including processing payments, verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts data
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- General administrative duties as required
Qualifications/ Skills required:
- Minimum HSC with Accounts as main subject, further studies in accounting would be an advantage
- Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience in a similar position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and be proactive
- Strong Microsoft office skills
