Job Description

Our client in the Retail sector is looking for a Book Keeper/ Administrative clerk.

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including processing payments, verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts data
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • General administrative duties as required

Qualifications/ Skills required:

  • Minimum HSC with Accounts as main subject, further studies in accounting would be an advantage
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience in a similar position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and be proactive
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
