Job Description

Our client is looking for a talented SEM/Paid Ads Manager to join its dynamic marketing team.

As an SEM/Paid Ads Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the global paid search and display advertising campaigns. Your primary goal will be to maximise the performance and efficiency of the company paid ads, ensuring they align with the  business objectives and deliver measurable results. This involves conducting thorough keyword research, crafting compelling ad copy, and continuously analysing campaign data to identify opportunities for improvement.

In addition to campaign management, you will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition. Your role will also involve staying abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure  the company strategies remain cutting-edge and competitive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Paid Search Campaigns:
    • Develop and execute global paid search campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, etc.).
    • Conduct keyword research, ad copy creation, and bid management.
    • Optimise campaigns for performance, including CTR, conversion rate, and ROI.
    • Monitor budget allocation and adjust as needed.
  • Display Advertising:
    • Manage display ad campaigns (banner ads, retargeting, etc.).
    • Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing ads.
    • A/B test creatives and landing pages.
  • Social Ads (LinkedIn):
    • Create and manage LinkedIn advertising campaigns.
    • Target specific professional audiences based on job titles, industries, and interests.
    • Craft compelling ad copy tailored for LinkedIn’s platform.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Regularly analyse campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide actionable insights to enhance performance.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO):
    • Implement CRO strategies to improve landing page experience and conversion rates.
    • Conduct A/B tests and multivariate tests.
  • Competitor Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies.
    • Adjust campaigns based on the competitive landscape.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with regional marketing teams, who are the ad spend budget holders, to develop and deploy ad campaigns tailored to their markets in local languages.
    • Work closely with content, design, and analytics teams.
    • Align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends and Best Practices:
    • Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing, design, digital communications, and learning and development.
    • Share insights and knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Required Skills and Knowledge

    • At least 5 years of experience in paid search/ad marketing
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, graphic design, or related field
    • Fluent in English with strong oral, presentation and written communication skills
