Our Client is  looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Tax Coordinator to assist the tax team. The Tax Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting with tax audits.

The job incumbent will be mainly required to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation & filing of tax and VAT returns for corporate;

• Prepare VAT reconciliations & other schedules;

• Compute income and deferred tax;

• Advise clients on tax matters;

• Assist in handling MRA examination of returns and assessments;

• Advise and assist in fulfilling obligations under FATCA, CRS & CbCr;

• Assist in providing tax compliance services.

  QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Partly ACCA qualified &/or Degree in Tax/ Accounting/ Finance;

• At least 2 years working experience in a tax environment, with exposure to compliance and advisory;

OTHER PREREQUISITES

• Sound knowledge of domestic tax legislations;

• Exposure to international taxation would be a definite advantage.

• Sound knowledge of accounting standards;

• Familiar with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written;

• Good analytical skills and the ability to demonstrate sound professional judgement;

• Highly organised with attention to details

• Effective time management skills particularly the ability to work on various deadlines at any one time;

• Trustworthiness and self-confidence;

• Highly committed and self-motivated

• Display proactive attitude towards colleagues and work.
